Matthew Usher is new Editor of FineScale Modeler magazine
Waukesha, WI - Matthew Usher, an experienced journalist, contest-winning model builder, and longtime member of the FineScale Modeler staff, has been named Editor of FineScale Modeler, the largest-circulation and best-known scale modeling magazine in the world.
Usher graduated from Ball State University and has served as a member of the editorial staff at the Academy of Model Aeronautics, and also Editor of Subaru Drive magazine in addition to his experience with FineScale Modeler, which began in 1996. Until his promotion, he was serving as Senior Editor of FineScale Modeler. Matthew also has substantial experience building models of aircraft, automobiles, armored vehicles, spacecraft, and other subjects, and is the author of more than 100 published articles. He has been a reader of FineScale Modeler since its launch, in 1982.
Kalmbach publishes 15 hobby and leisure-time magazines, numerous books and other products, and promotes related information on 20 Internet sites. The company employs nearly 300 people at its office located at 21027 Crossroads Circle, Waukesha, Wisconsin.
